Presdient, Don Hinderliter
Mr. Hinderliter is retired from the United States Government and
currently operates an office service business. He oversees all administrative operations of the shelter,
performs public speaking engagements, works two days per week with our dogs and coordinates activities
to insure we meet the goals and objectives set by the Board.

Vice Presdient, Chris Stiles
Chris has been a volunteer and member of CARE since 2005. She is currently active in the data/reports aspects of our operation and
participates in adoptions, dog training, Sunday kennel care and special community outreach events. She is employed as a corporate
trainer for Progressive Insurance and has recently been certified by the Animal Behavior College as a canine trainer. Chris is the
proud mom of 3 rehabilitated rescues and a special (deaf) dog adopted from CARE (Whiskey).

Treasurer, Lori Bruno
Has been a CARE member and volunteer since the beginning of CARE in 2000. She has served as CARE Treasurer for the last several
years and, along with husband and huge CARE supporter Charlie have several kitten children living with them in Apollo Beach.
Lori is employed by Mixon/Hubble Law Firm in Sun City Center and her and Charlie are active sailboaters and motorcycle enthusiasts.

Secretary, Linda Earles
Has been a CARE member and volunteer since 2004 when she worked in the cat facility and assisted with their adoptions.
She has served as our Outreach Coordinator for last couple of years and has 2 feline children: Fluffer, a stray taken in
about 10 years ago and Grayson, who was adopted from CARE two years ago. Linda is employed at US Trust/Bank of America in
Tampa and currently serves as CARE Secretary.

Board Member, Priscilla Mixon
Ms. Mixon is the Executive Director of the Mary Martha House and serves
on the Board of the Ruskin Women's Club. She previously served on
the Board as CARE's Secretary and has been involved with the organization
from the beginning.

Board Member, Tim Otte
Mr. Otte can often be seen on the grounds
of the shelter working on various projects. He and Charlie Bruno
turned a carport into what is now the happy home for the CARE kitties.
He has completed several projects around the shelter including the
porch on the dog house and hurricane shutters for the kennels. He
also helps Dr. Ott with the Spay/Neuter Clinic. Mr. Otte is retired
from the U.S. Coast Guard.

Board Member, Kelly Mariskanish
Has been a CARE member and volunteer since 2005. She is primarily responsible for CARE's annual Petfest Celebration and Pet
Reunin and has 5 animal kids: Pugsley, a 9 year old Beagle/Bluetick mix; LuBelle, a 3 year old Bluetick adopted from CARE;
Simon, a 2 year old Beagle; Emily, a 4 year old grey tabby and Charley, one of Emily's kittens. Kelly is employed at the St.
Petersburg Times and has been a Ruskin resident since 1999.

Volunteer Coordinator, Margaret Jackson
Margaret has a BS in Biology and was a quality assurance supervisor/director/auditor for the pharmaceutical industry for 10 years. She
resigned in December and started volunteering at CARE in March of 2007. She loves all animals and has always wanted to volunteer at a shelter that
believes in finding quality homes for their animals. You will find her at the shelter 3-4 days a week. She does the spay/neuter clinic scheduling
for C.A.R.E. and the ACT neuter scooter. She takes care of the referral lists (People wanting pets, Pets needing homes, lost pets and found pets) and
now is also the volunteer coordinator. She plans on going back to college this summer for a degree in Veterinary Technology.
