Price Waterhouse Adopt-a-thon
On May 12th and 13th, C.A.R.E. attended the annual Price Waterhouse Adopt-a-thon. On the first day we
brought Bob (shepard-chow mix), Bailey (pointer), Fisher (puppy) and several kittens to the Price Waterhouse
building in Tampa. Happily Fisher and one of the kittens were adopted. Bailey returned on the second day
along with Tucker (shepard-beagle mix) and a black cat named Salem. Salem had been spotted on the Petfinder
website by a PW employee and it was love at first sight. Salem went home with her new owner that night, but
after a long afternoon in the hot sun Tucker and Bailey had to come back to the shelter.
C.A.R.E. would like to thank all the employees at PW for their generous donations. We had a wonderful time
speaking with everyone.
