First Annual Critter Reunion
Adopted dogs and their new parents celebrated with volunteers at the First Annual Critter Reunion
held at the C.A.R.E. animal shelter on 28th Street S.E. in Ruskin on Saturday, June 18. Parents
and volunteers were treated to hot dogs and hamburgers, along with a reunion cake celebrating the
event. Canine guests enjoyed the swimming pools, play time with the other lucky dogs and their
own special treats. C.A.R.E. hopes to make the Critter Reunion an annual event.
We would like to thank all the owners and pets who came out to the shelter. It was a wonderful
experience for all the voluteers to see old friends and how well they are doing in their new homes.
Unfortunately, the pictures we took did not come out, so we won't be able to show you all the happy animals
