C.A.R.E. RELINQUISHMENT POLICIES
C.A.R.E. accepts intakes of adoptable pets, however, we are a no-kill shelter with limited and/or no space available.

This list also includes valuable information on low cost Spay/Neuter programs, lost Pet, and injured wildlife resources.
You may also call or email us with a description of your animal and situation for further assistance.
We are a small shelter that is supported 100% by donations. Therefore, we ask the public for their assistance to continue our mission of re-homing adoptable pets.
Please consider making a small donation to C.A.R.E. when relinquishing an animal to help us with Veterinary expenses.
We also ask that owned animals be tested for Heartworm and be up to date on vaccinations at the owner's expense. C.A.R.E. does not have a Vet on staff and is
not an Emergency care facility. If you have a situation involving an injured or aggressive animal,
please contact Hillsborough County Animal Services on the attached list.
