I just wanted to let you and all the volunteers know how Salem, (re-named Oliver), is doing... I don't think he could be happier! The first day he was a little squeamish, but by Friday night he was sitting on our laps. He was fine unless we stood up, and then he'd run back under the bed. He got over that on Saturday. We went out and bought him a LOT of toys, which he played with for about a minute and then promptly discarded. He found one of my hair ribbons and now that's all he'll play with! He had trouble sleeping at first and cried for the first three nights all night long! (I was extremely tired come Monday for work). But he's since gotten used to us, and now sleeps by my feet at night. He's an extremely loving and funny cat, and Max (my fiance) and I couldn't be happier. Thank you so much. - Kate
