Max is a handsome blue-eyed charmer who has enlivened our home since we adopted him in June 2008. Playful and sociable, he likes to be around people, and often joins in when we greet visitors. With feline instincts and quickness, he can nab a fleet-footed gecko intruder in the lanai, only to drop it and watch as it scampers away unharmed. We think he left mom before completing his 'hunter' training. Max is a delightful companion and an example of the difference C.A.R.E. can make in the lives of both pets and their people.
