Hi!
My name is Tuxie and I have been in my new home since late February, when a volunteer couldn’t resist my sweet personality any longer.
I am a Tuxedo cat who was born July 17, 2010, and lived at C.A.R.E. until I was brought to my new home in Sun City Center.
I easily took control of my house without nary a fight from my humanoid housemates and the other felines here. The older felines
here are pretty mellow, but the younger calico (another C.A.R.E. alumni) is a spunky little critter whom I am winning over slowly.
I just love chasing the laser light they have here, and I can go outside to the screened lanai to watch all the birds and lizards any time I want.
Inside, I like to play with my housemate by hiding her reading glasses and watching her on her hands and knees looking for them. What a sight THAT is!
I get plenty of affection and still love my belly rubs. To show my appreciation, I sometimes bring her a little frog I find on the lanai.
I’m still waiting to catch one of those little lizards for her.
