Cassidy

Hello C.A.R.E. Readers. My name is Cassidy. After seven long months of wooing potential adopters – I finally got adopted on May 31st. I have had a lot of fun since joining my new family: I have met some new playmates. Diego is my favorite and I think he has a crush on me. I have gone to the dog park and to the beach! My owners seemed to get some amusement when I tried to bite the foam off the waves as they hit the sand. I am still not sure what was in the water that made it taste so funny, but it sure was fun. I am now undertaking the difficult process of training my new owners. For some reason unbeknownst to me, I get a talking to every time I chase the cats or I try to hop on the furniture. I think it will take some hard work to remedy these matters, but I will keep trying and report back on my future success.

I heard Darwin offers advice and I may have to consult him on tips for training my owners. Anyway, I am really writing to thank Gloria, Don, Tim, Chris and the other volunteers who loved me and took good care of me while I was at C.A.R.E. I also want to thank all of the people who donate to C.A.R.E. – if it was not for you, I would still be having lots of puppies since I was not spayed by my former owner. I would still have heartworms and I would still be tied to a tree. Life sure is sweet now!

Sincerely, Cassidy (Smiley) Sullivan
