My name is Hazel. I was known as Laney when I was at C.A.R.E. Everyone thinks that I am a Weimeraner mix. I am 1 ½ years old. I was found with my puppy and brought to C.A.R.E. My puppy was adopted but I was left waiting for my forever home. Finally this really nice lady came and saw me. She took me into the yard to play. She had to let me go back to my dog run because she wanted the rest of her family to meet me. She told me she would be back the next day. Well, she got home that day and couldn't wait to have them meet me. They all came back that day to see me and I got to go home with them. Their daughter gave me a new name, Hazel, and I am so smart that it only took me 2 days to learn my new name.

I was a little nervous when I got there. They have a kitty named Molly who was a little scared of me. I want to play with her but my Mom says that I have to go slow with her because she is not used to dogs. She's getting better with me. Now, she'll come up and touch noses with me! I have lots of toys and playtime at my home. My favorite thing is to go on car rides! I love going to Apollo Beach to play in the sand and water! I am such a happy girl now!
