Mojo is doing wonderfully! He's so lovable, playful, learning very quickly---and so eager to please.
He's just been introduced to the dog park and is all settled in to knowing that he belongs here and we are "his people".
We have recently learned something that you all likely know about---but I just discovered! You all pointed out his
underbite and we talked about what kind of "mix" he could be when we were there. In the meantime, he's been a slow, distracted eater,
taking one morsel at a time---then seeing something of interest and leaving food behind. I came across online a reference to dogs with
underbites often having trouble with flat bottom dog bowls and it suggested rounded, slant-sided bowls. I went it and grabbed a cereal
bowl to test it out----and Mojo gulped down his food with the speed and gusto that I'm more familiar with.
I'm sure Mojo is thrilled that I've finally caught on. At any rate, he seems happy and so are we.
Thanks so much!
Dolores
