Nigel
First off, mom and dad (they like me to call them that) are really becoming
adjusted to their new routine of getting up nice and early every
morning and starting the day with a refreshing walk out in the
moonlight to get the newspaper. I usually go with one of them so I can
enjoy my "morning constitution" ( if you know what I mean).
They have
been so concerned about me that they had little white flags placed all
the way around the house to amuse me. But something must have gone
wrong, because any time I try to get near one of those flags I get a
really nasty feeling, so I don't ever go close to them anymore.
I've been keeping quite busy with all the responsibilities they've
given me...like keeping the pigeons from eating all the corn "mom" puts
out for the squirrels. It has also become my job to entertain them, for
what seems like hours, to play "catch the squeeky toy". Boy, they just
about wear me out! And they get so wrapped up in the morning newspaper
that I just have to put my foot (actually all four feet) down and make
them get out of bed and fix themselves something to eat...they
sometimes give me a little something as a way of saying "thank you
Nigel".
All in all, Mom and Dad tell everyone that I'm "precocious" (in case
you don't know, that means sweet and cuddly). By the way, Dad has been
taking pictures like crazy and will probably be sending you
some...although I know you already have one because I saw it on a web
site.
Well I've got to run now because it's almost time for lunch...and I
sure don't want to miss that!
Say hello to all my old buddies there.
Love,
Nigel
