Happy Valentine's Day from Sam

Valentine's Day is a very important day for me because I was adopted from CARE right around Valentine's Day in 2003 after my Mom and Dad saw my photo on petfinder.com and just knew they had to have me! I then lived in Gainesville (Go Gators!) to help my Mom get through law school until 2004 and then we moved to Tampa, Florida. I just celebrated my 6th birthday at the end of December and couldn't be happier with the past 6 years of my life! I have had so much fun going to dog parks, doggy day care and dog beaches, swimming in my grandparents' pool, playing fetch, performing all of my tricks, taking over most of my parents' king-size bed every night, and making lots of friends! In fact, I have made so many friends that the neighborhood kids ring my doorbell to see if I can come out and play all of the time. My Mom says that I am the best dog in the world and that she is lucky to have me. I say that I am lucky to have been cared for by and matched up with my parents by CARE.
