Whiskey is doing fantastic! His ability to adjust quickly to an already very chaotic household exceeded my expectations. He has double the personality I ever knew him to have which makes me love him even more. He walks nicely on a coupler with my other 3 boys. Even though they are all about 5 years older than him and are blood related, they play great with him. The only problem is that they get pooped much quicker than him so he is still bouncing around when they are ready for a nap. He still has a lot of puppy qualities. I walk my boys 3 times a day and have been taking him on a 4th walk. Everyday he brings out every single toy they have. Most of the time they all end up in the backyard. I can only imagine what goes on when my husband and I are not at home!

He is ornery if you didn't already know that. When he wants attention, he pulls his dog bed out of the crate and drags it through the kitchen to the doggy door. He has made it his goal to eventually stuff the whole dog bed out the doggy door. I move it back and he takes it again. It is a little game he plays. I think he knows that it drives me nuts and yes, I am playing right into his hands by moving back each time.

He has become more affectionate than expected. He asks to be hugged or scratched 100 times a day. He regularly kisses my husband's whole face. He is enamored with the big screen TV. I catch him watching it with his head all cocked sideways. Don't worry, I limit his TV time to 1/2 hour per day:) The hose is his favorite thing so far. He will chase the stream of water and then stick his whole head in it when he catches it. I am thinking of taking him to this calm water area at a park near the Friendship Bridge to see what he thinks. I am not to sure about the beaches where there are waves because of his vertigo issues. He also has gone on a couple of car rides to get ice cream. He loves to stick his head out of the window.

I foresee a happy and balanced life for Whiskey. He is a joy to have in our lives.
