Charley, a purebred 9-year-old Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, was surrendered to C.A.R.E. by her owner who had no time in the past 3 years to take her to a vet to address her severe health issues. She is on medication now for chronic, untreated skin infections and severe ear infections, She is scheduled to have dental surgery because her mouth and teeth are so bad that she can only eat soft food. She also has a level 4 heart mummer. Charley is a laid back sweetheart! She wags her tail at the slightest kind word and she is grateful for any attention at all. Charley has been nonreactive with other dogs and kittens since coming to us. We cannot say she is 100% housebroken, but she has never had an accident in her kennel. She has good eyes for her age and she is heartworm negative. Charley is now receiving the very best care and all of her health issues are being addressed. When you come to take her home, all you need to do is supply the love she so deserves!
