Petey

Say hi to sweet Petey. He is a big ole goofy pitbull/terrier mix who has quickly become a favorite of our volunteers. He is so handsome! He loves to greet all visitors with a friendly smile and a furiously wagging tail. Petey came to C.A.R.E. all on his own. He showed up at our gate and decided to make himself at home. He is SUCH a great dog! He loves attention and petting. He doesn't make messes in his kennel. He comes when he's called and he walks great on a leash. He didn't even react when he was walked right by a squirrel! He is nonreactive to the other dogs in the shelter. He would probably be fine with kids who are dog savvy. Petey is heartworm positive and is being treated. A home with a fenced yard is preferred.
