I adopted Charlie (black) and Romeo (grey) from C.A.R.E. in late December of 2019. By New Year's Day, they were extremely comfortable in their new townhome.
Gumbo (formerly known as Charlie) and Geaux-Geaux (Romeo) are best buds and love treats, tunnels, sheet-covered box forts, more treats, zoomies up and down the stairs (capped off with treats), and naps on the ottoman by the window, while occasionally standing guard against potential squirrel, bird, and duck break-ins. We have not been attacked yet; 100% success! They are my work from home buddies and are by far the best co-workers you could ever ask for. Thank you to everyone at C.A.R.E. for the hard work and love you give to all the fur babies each and every day. Stewart R. Slayton

Buddy and Cooper joined my family in July 2022. They are a bonded pair and cannot stand to be apart. They play together and do zoomies all around the house – always making me laugh. After some socialization issues, they have settled in nicely to the daily routine. I can’t imagine my life without them! Dale T. Hunni is so happy in her new home. She has made no attempts to leave! She is looking forward to running and chasing the abundance of birds, bunnies and squirrel that inhabit the large fenced yard. And she may even experience snow for the first time in here New York home too. We are forever grateful for Hunni. The Donovans |
